About Giuseppe Cavallo: Giuseppe Cavallo is an Italian who has given the world laps. His travels have touched territories such as Japan, China, Russia, USA, Latin America and Europe for ten years living outside of Italy. "Traveling is a challenge and an opportunity at the same time. You are dealing with new cultures and situations that require you to be flexible and look at reality from the point of view of others. Often you find yourself questioning your belief system and rules" says Cavallo.

Since 2004 Cavallo lives in Barcelona, where his activity as a photographer joins the profession of executive communication in a multinational corporation.

The artist has come to photography only recently. His earliest works date from 2007. However Cavallo has a very definite style and a clear poetic intention.

"I do not intend to give messages. My photos reflect moods, intuitions, feelings. They do not want to be an act of faithful reproduction, but rather the result of a process of contemplation and internalization of the subject."

Giuseppe Cavallo, during the public opening of the new gallery AW GALLERY in Barcelona, features twenty photographs of Japanese subjects. Temples, votive statues (Jizos and Kannon Samas), details of practice and the famous Zen rock gardens are part of the proposal of the photographer. The play betrays his deep interest in Zen philosophy Cavallo and his search for atmospheres that lead to silence, reflection and serenity.

"In Zen practice writing haiku, short poems that are essential, almost bare. In the few lines of a haiku is the point of departure for a journey of spirit. In a haiku, the reader is the most important element. He starts from the brief description of haikuji to indulge in a work of deepening and developing highly creative.
Also I hope to offer photographs that give those who look at the possibility of creating its own history and become the true author "concludes Cavallo.

Giuseppe Cavallo was born on 16 July 1964 to San Nicola la Strada (Caserta), near Naples in Italy.
He graduated in political science at the University of Naples and developed his career in the world of communication.
Lives in the old center of Barcelona.
He has exhibited some of his works in Barcelona and has plans to exhibit in Italy.
